So, like Toyota, it's moving you... not necessarily whether you want to or not?

Yes, try it out. The car didn't stall, it just kept going faster.

It will even work if you accelerate uphill. Perfect for parking garage low/mph speed. I learned this during my Euro Delivery.

The vehicle would probably buck/jerk before it stalled. Why don't you give it a try?

My M4 just crawls - forward or back. If I'm in reverse and stationary, and I tap the accelerator it "crawls" backward at a slow and constant speed. Thought this was normal behaviour

Try increasing your trunk lid spring tension. Here's a YouTube video showing how to do both sides in one minute:

I had to do this with my wife's M3 because the trunk wouldn't pop all the way open like my '16 M4 does. Just move the end of the spring from #1 to #2:

Edited to add: The dots near the slots correspond to the "official" BMW position numbers. Where I have #1 there is one dot. The separate, upper slot has two dots. The other end of the lower slot has three dots, only two of which are visible in the photo, and I've placed a #2 next to that. My numbers don't correspond to the "official" BMW position numbers.

I'll be doing this tomorrow. Mine opens all the way maybe 1/10 times.

Does anyone know if the trunk/boot is supposed to open all the way on a '16 F83? Mine only releases the catch. I haven't looked to see if I have the adjustment option....

The button in the glovebox locks the trunk from opening with key fob for valet I presume. BimmerLink is cheap and easy way to open exhaust flaps.

My 18 F83 only releases the catch. It won't pop up by itself.

It might have been written somewhere but I missed it.

The audio for the PDC is biased. If I'm backing up into an obstacle the "beep" will sound from the rear speakers and the front pdc audio is from the from speakers. i think it's biased left to right too.

I recently discovered that I can control how quick the shifts are in manual mode, by adjusting the drive logic setting. I feel like an idiot!

Pro tip: you can also control how quickly the car speeds up and slows down by pressing the gas and brake pedals harder

Not today, more like last year, but I found that using the fastest shift speed with full throttle on a wet track with cold tires results in a very dynamic situation! Even if the wheel is straight, any slight variation in the track surface will result in a side-step, so be ready.

Thing I learned today as most of my 6,500 miles have mostly been town/city or non-consistent interstate cruising. If you push past the initial detent on the + or - on the cruise control, itll go up/down to the nearest value of 5mph.

I should scroll through the manual more... ... ...
