First Time 6MT Gearbox Oil Change at 52K Miles

Well, this doesn't look like "lifetime oil". Glad I changed it. Definitely feels smoother now. 1.5L of BMW MTF-LT-5, 75W-80

You can't tell much about the effectiveness of a used oil visually.

That said I change my 6mt fluid every 50k miles too 👍

Unlike changing the diff fluid, you do not need new drain or fill plugs for a 6MT fluid change...

Did my 6mt at 23k miles along with trans fluid and spark plugs. The tech at the dealer said the diff fluid was still really clean and could have waited until 50k.

DCT fluid change isnt straight forward I think, you need to run cycles to flush the system and make sure everything is bleed through I think.

Like the autos I think the DCT fluid is "lifetime"
