Picking my 2018 M3 non Competition on Saturday. Certified and clean carfax with 21K miles for $62,567 in NJ. Original asking price was $68,867 so I feel I got a good ( during Covid ) deal. I am adding the extended BMW warranty that will keep it under warranty until NOV 2025.

You talked them down from $68867 to 62567?

Took almost a month from starting to talk to price to when we agreed on a price. I been looking for so long and knew what I wanted to spend. It's a second car for me so I was in no rush and knew there were deals out there. Just had to show patience. I did add on the extended warranty and it looks like they are giving me rim and tire warranty for $2K which I may take so the price has gone up significantly.

Is it CPO? If it is, you got the warranty until 10/23 which is key.

No it is not. Warranty actually starts Jan 2019 due to it being delivered then. I actually think it was one of the last 30 cars produced based on vin. Warranty expires 2023 - Jan.

Still not a bad deal. There were only like 30 CPO 2018 models being sold in the country. I lucked out and got mine at a BMW dealer under an hour from my home. You may still be able to add a warranty to it thru BMW or 3rd party.

CPO just isn't worth it to me. If I wanted a warranty I would have bought a g8x. Extended warranty prices are also a joke. I tend to burn through cars rather quickly. Plus cpo cars in my area were an additional 5-7k

Yep. Around $5400 for mine. I didn't want to take any chances being my first BMW.

I'm mineral white with MPE, but very similar spec otherwise. I paid $46.9k US, in april 2021, for a 2016 m4 w/30k miles.

I think it sounds like a pretty fair deal.

Got $65K for it (couldn't believe it!) and it's for sale here (link below). If you are in the market, this M car has been well taken care of.

That's a great price you got for your trade in. They're asking only 3k more than that now.

Did you have to pay a markup on your x5 or did you get it at a discount?

That's awesome. I traded in my '15 M4 for an '18 M3 non comp with 25,000 km (15,500 miles). I paid $68,000 CDN ($54,400 USD) in August 2021. SS2 on black interior, DCT, premium package, ICONs. I think I did pretty good.

ISD is also January 2019.

Ehhh still a bit pricey considering the miles tbh. Would try to negotiate into the high 40s

For what it's worth, BMW offered me $56k trade-in for my car last week (waiting on my 22 M3C to be built). Vroom and KBB were around $58k for trade-in. I bought it for $61k in September 2019:

2018 M3 DCT in Mineral White/Black extended Merino
35.8k miles
Competition Package
M Performance Package (front lip/splitter/CF mirror caps/spoiler/rear diffuser)
MPE with CF tips
Executive Package
Driving Assistant Package
Heated rear seats/Blind Spot/Car Play/Stainless pedals/LED door projectors
Xpel PPF on full front/fenders/mirrors/roof (added after I bought it)
Graphene coated (added after I bought it)
20" RF GT4's in Satin Titanium (added after I bought it, will sell these separate)

Yeah I figure it's still a bit pricey. I did bring it down from a lil over $53k to just a lil bit over $50k, otd price went from $58700 to $55500. Not sure if I should pull the trigger.
