With 19s, stock tire size, 12mm spacers and 5 people no scraping or rubbing. This is with -1.6 rear camber.

what about on 20s on CP car, do you think there will be any scraping or rubbing?

Didnt have any issues on my 19s other than the occassional scraping on little elevated places

I am in two minds about lowering it, is there any benefit other than looks? I believe there is no improved handling or suspension benefits coming from a CP car , for a non-CP car handling is improved.

Thoughts?

It depends what you are after.

In general terms, lowering the car reduces weight transfer which improves total mechanical grip during cornering and braking for improved handling. On the other hand, stiffer springs provide sharper handling (faster response to driver inputs in transitions) at the cost of less mechanical grip and vice versa.

So installing lower and slightly softer Eibach springs on CP M3/4 will improve mechanical grip at the expense of slightly less handling response.

Can someone please confirm for me the need to recalibrate the ICM?

I'm planning on installing V2 springs on my 18' Comp/active suspension soon and I'm having an indie shop do the physical spring install.

Thanks

I am contemplating ordering the Euro Eibachs from the same seller as you. Is your car ZCP? Still happy with the springs?

Non-ZCP, zero complaints. I'm very happy with the springs.

Installed eibach and springs are very good even on CP suspension which was my bit concern and car rides like stock and steering feels tighter.

Is there a way to upload pics from cell?

Anyone else concerned that the v1 E10-20-031-10-22 seems to be the same part number Eibach uses for F30 models? I know about the v2, but seems those may have only addressed the rear drop. I was tempted to pull the trigger on these, but now I'm wondering how much R&D really went into these.

They did a great job! I'm really happy with the drop!

I WANT THIS DROP. I got the US V2 Eibach and it's way too low for me. I can barely fit a finger and a half in the front and I scrape everywhere.

That drop is probably the same - you can see the difference in front height from the 1st pic to the 3rd pic, probably due to settling.

I thought eibachs were the smallest drop of all springs only.
3 finger gap to 1.5 gap doesn't seem like too much

My V2's nearly slammed my car, too low for my taste. I'll be trying the Euro Spec V1s next. These nearly brand new V2s are for sale..who wants them? =)

In retrospect, I am much happier I did not lower my Comp Pack car bc it's setup already so well and even with the MPerformance lip, I never scrape. And the times I get really close, since it's not lowered, I've managed to just clear it. Honestly guys, only us owners can preceive the "wheel gap." I haven't met anyone that's made a comment other than the car just looks perfect as is. I bet many of us are children of the 90s and we were conditioned to lower our cars bc that was the thing to do back then. I'm not convinced today that these cars need anything for a street setup.

Yes sir, and if the V1s are still too low I'm going back to stock.

Your car looks phenomenal. If it was a show car only I'd leave as is. But if you're like me and you use your car for practical reasons then having it that low just becomes a chore.

I ended up putting v1 springs up front and left the rear stock. This may not be a bad option for you since you are unhappy with the lower look of v2. V1 spring rates are very close to oem so the ride will not be negatively impacted. It made the wheel gap nice and level as well.
