Here is a way to look up ship schedules of most of the major BMW carriers to the US from bremerhaven. From what I'm seeing it takes an average of 3-5 days to go from production finish to being at port waiting for a boat.

My trial of Fleetmon expires tomorrow(10/14/15)! Does anyone want to step up and assist in the tracking for others?

Great job picking up the gauntlet Kr3st , Bmwguy11 has set the bar high. Hope all you October builds get your cars quickly and without the drama some of the poor September build folks went through.

Excellent!! My car could possibly end up on the last boat of the month but most likely I'll be an early November shipment. ?

Ordered 9/14 still waiting for a scheduled for production date. The wait is killing me. On average does it usually take this long to get an actual scheduled date?

Awesome thread! My M4 is currently being built -- started Sept. 28th/29th, no idea how to look up the expected completion date. I'm hoping mine starts its adventure towards the states before the end of the month. I wish the MyBMW site had more finite detail into the progress of your car...

If you got an order completed your dealer should have given you a production number. Even then, I did my order in the last week of September and my production date is in the 3rd week of Oct. still. The production number I have will not reflect my build, nor be trackable until production actually begins.

I placed my order (status 111) on 9/12 and got my production completion date (10/13) about a week ago. I would think your CA should know the build week by now.

I received a production number the day I ordered it but when I call BMW NA the recording say my order is placed and scheduled for production with no confirmed date. Seems like a long time to not even have a production week yet.

Oh I'm sure you already have one. The automated system isn't the most accurate. If you talk to a rep or your CA they should be able to get that info for you.

My production ends on 10/15. How do I find which ship my car is on?

You won't know until it actually gets on one, but you can find out through your dealer. Your car needs to finish production, get shipped to the port, and then you will get assigned a boat, if a boat is available at port and heading to your port of entry. Once you do get on a boat you probably won't even know until 2 days after it leaves port since the tracking won't update right away.

For those of you wondering what your build week is or what ship your car will be on, call BMW Genius with your production number throughout this process. They can tell you all of these things once the information is in the system. They have access to the same data/info as your CA does.

Depending on the CA... They might have all the info your CA "doesn't know about or never heard of such info"...
