Updated US 2016 M3 / M4 Pricing Guide - ZCP Competition Package w/ SOP March 2016
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I don't see an option for the 20" rim with the black finish or the option for selecting the 19" rims. Though it could be in the dealers system. With respect to the interior, it appears beige is the only color not available. |

Thanks for sharing, two things I find interesting here:
2VF Adaptive M Suspension + rear axle air suspension | Is the addition of air suspension the change in the damper parts? Did I miss that the "standard" 2VF adaptive suspension includes rear air suspension? 7MN M Competition package 444hp, new settings for suspension, DSC and Active M Differential. Visit PKOD for full details. For F80/F82 models, Black Full Merino Leather Trim with Silverstone stitching (Z1XX) is available via special request - contact Regional Distribution Office. | Hopefully deviated stitching will no longer be a full bespoke individual option / lower price. I also noticed that the ZCP seats delete option code 488 which is the lumbar support. Though, curiously, code 490 is adjustable seat width and lumbar support, so I wonder what exactly is lost from 488?

I saw this note - but doesn't Black Full Leather interior normally have silver/gray contrast stitching?

I was pondering the same thing. Yes, Black Full Leather (and, in fact, all black interior options, including extended and even the standard Carbonstructure cloth and black leather combination) has the gray contrast stitching, but I think the separate Z1xx contrast stitching option applies it more thoroughly. I would have to go back and look at pictures to confirm. Also, I don't know if it was ever confirmed that the standard contrast stitching was the same color as the optional Silverstone contrast stitching, though for sure that is such a salient detail as to be almost completely unimportant.

probably just a reclassification of seat features. bmw likes to do this type of features switch to signify new options, especially when bundling

Maybe, but both codes are listed in the guide as being standard, so it would seem that they mean two different things as far as what goes onto the car in the factory.

The remaining seat back with the cutouts is probably too narrow to fit the lumbar support bladders.

Right, yeah, we are on the same page. My point is, it's not 100% clear from all this what the difference in functionality is between ZCP and non-ZCP seats. We can speculate, but it would be nice to know for certain. |

Mercedes has been using air suspension in the rear for some time on AMG cars. The current E63 AMG uses coil springs in front and air in the rear.

Interesting, not trying to be a smart ass, but that makes sense on an E63 as it is a large/heavy car. My friends Dodge Ram has it for a better ride. I'm just surprised to see it on something like an M3/4 type of vehicle.

Carbons structure as standard, leather as a cost option.

This actually makes me stop and reconsider ZCP. Since it'll be a long term car for me, I just am not sure I want the added complexity

I would not be too worried. I am willing to bet it is a typo .

I don't understand why with the ZCP cosmetic changes of Black Kidney Grills, Black Side Vents/Gills, Black Exhaust Tips, and Black Model Badge on Tail, BMW isn't offering the 666 wheels in a Black or Dark variation? Why would they only offer the 20's in chrome/silver when they are blacking every other trim element? Makes no sense, unless they want the dealer to make more money in aftermarket powdercoating fees.......
