Mouse fur getting destroyed on my CS steering wheel... solutions?
Despite all my efforts to preserve the alcantera on my CS steering wheel, it's starting to rip at the 12 o'clock perforations. Car isn't my daily, and I wear gloves for track use, but it still managed to rip with 2-3 track days a month.
I'm thinking I should glue it down so it doesn't get worse. Any recommendations for what type of glue to use?

I would use some type of flexible glue. fabric adhesive would be the safest bet. You would probably have to spray the adhesive on a blank sheet and scoop it up with a toothpick for precise application.
Apply some on the back of the alcantara and also the surface it covers. Let it dry for a minute and then stick together. Unfortunately, once its ripped, it will be much easier to break apart again... |
