I have an Early 2016 model, although I was told my unit is only 2 gigs. How would I check to verify what unit I have, and ensure I have the NBT EVO.

if you have a 2016 + older model your able to get CARPLAY I got it done on mine !

I reached out to kubax and am still debating on what I'm going to do, but he responded quick, his pricing is very reasonable, and everyone seems to say good things about his work. From what he said, no hardware changes would be required on my ID4 system to upgrade to ID6, except for possibly needing to add a wifi antenna, which would be straightforward.

Kubax did mine....it works flawlessly, so glad I did it. The required wifi antenna cost me $30 at the dealer and installed in 10 mins.
