Nope,
Cafd needs to be injected. Takes 2 minutes on esys.

Plug and play, the driver side wire u need to stretch longer by cutting the zip tie.

Would LCI1 module fit into the LCI2 headlights? or would you need to buy the headlights with modules in them?

Completely different.

Lci 1 made by hella and lci2 made by Valeo

Edit: Automotive lighting is the brand not hella.

I have a full set of LCI2 modules in Brisbane. Headlights are broken but modules are sweet.

Yes you can and this is very common to keep the cost down, given the premium associated to most true ///M parts. You will not notice the difference aesthetically once they are on and you will save yourself some cash doing it this way.

Just a quick note - the F8x LCI 2 headlights are the same as the F32 LCI headlights from the 4 series not the F30 3 series lights.

Yes you will need the wiring kit specifically for 2018+ LCI.

LCI Non Adaptive

I have a 2018 F82 M4 and it has the LED lights but non adaptive, is there any way to fit these to my car and get the full function of it? Or is it too much work since the interior stalk doesn't have the additional button?

You need the stalk button to activate plus you need to check if you have the cameras behind your rear view mirror.

Thanks for the info, it has the camera as it picks up all the speed signs, so I might get hold of a stalk first to see if the harness is any different.

You might be able to get it coded to be permanently on but check with a coder.

Do you have a quick step by step instruction on injecting CAFD of FEM?

It's not something bimmercode can do, it seems no coders are willing to share the information on how to code it using E SYS.
