20x10 up front. 20x11 in rear
Has anybody converted the wheel width on their F80 M3 yet? If so please let me know whats needed in terms of fitment, as well as how the car handles with wider track. Car is already lowered on HR Sport springs (F=1.2" R=0.8") and has spacers. 18mm up front 15mm in rear.
Currently im looking at the HRE FF04 Flowform's. Gonna be 20" all the way around Do I need to get different spacers? Or at all? What offset will I need? HRE has 23mm 20mm 40mm 43mm What tire size should I be looking at? Is this even a good idea? |

Front: 20x10 +23 put a 5mm spacer if you have a drop otherwise will hit springs if they are progressive. You can try without spacers but I recommend them.
Rear : 20x11 +35 265/30/20 front 285/30/20 rear

Since you have spacers on your car, you’ve already widened the track by 36mm in front and 30mm in the rear. Going with wider wheels, you will in fact need to reduce the track to ensure the tires fit inside the fenders.
To keep the same “stance” (wheel face position relative to the fender) as your stock wheels with your 18/15mm spacers on 10”/11” wide wheels, you’ll need ET23 in front and ET37 in the rear. Based on the HRE offerings you mention, the ET23 front and ET40 rear would provide the nearest “stance” to your current setup without the need for spacers.

I had the 10/11 combo for over a year year. Did it look great? Yes. Did it drove better than stock? No. Would I do it again? Of course! Lol Currently on 20x10 and 20x12 and can't really complain, but I'm not driving that much. For reference I had 20x10 et20 and 20x11 et25 but this setup is super aggressive. Stock ZCP tires. If you buying new wheels anyway, try to avoid spacers. Last edited by LOW4LYF; 05-12-2019 at 07:29 PM.. |

I have 20x10 and 20x11. If I could do it all over again, I would have gone with 19 inch instead.
Tires are ridiculously expensive and there is only a handful of selection you can buy. Plus, I felt like my stock 19 inch felt better on curves and turns.

If you getting a 20x10 et20 you can avoid spacers, save weight etc. Makes no sense to buy custom wheels and put additional spacers on.

We've done the 20x10 | 20x11 FF04 several times, here's how it looks on KW V3. There's no issue with fitment against the suspension or fender on 265/30/20 | 295/30/20

How are you able to get away with 295/30/20 on 20x11?

what offset is that set up? My only options are 23mm up front and 43mm in rear. Its a "by vehicle" set, but idk how true to vehicle it is. vividracing says its offsets are tailored for the f80 specifically. Open to other opinions tho |

Really a shame some companies are not willing to share offsets, but anyway... this is a 20x10 et25 and 5mm spacers, so et20. Tire 265/30 PSS and KW HAS V1.
I would not be able to run et23 with the 265/30 an KW HAS V1. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to tell you thanks for the info. I went with your exact setup recommendation, and everything fits perfectly. Identical to the fitment I had with spacers and stock wheels. no rub, and the 295's are perfect in the rear. |
