Vanity Plates - What's your tag?

for you cali guys, how are you ordering the plates? The custom plates online option seems to be down due to the pandemic. Here's the site that I am trying to get it through: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicl...icense-plates/

seems like you can only order sequential ones. bummer

I managed to order mine here - https://www.dmv.ca.gov/wasapp/ipp2/initPers.do

The caveat is that I ordered it in Oct last year, and got an automated call telling me that the license plate is delayed due to covid, with no arrival estimate.

In 1969 my father bought a 2002, his first of several BMW”s and other German cars. 44 years later I bought my first BMW 2013 335i. The story....he would take my best friend and I for weekend drives on the back roads and every time he nailed the throttle my friend in the back seat would exclaim “ZAP DADDY” and off we’d go. Great times for 8 year olds. RIP Dad!

How'd you get in? The CA personalized plate site has been down for months. Appeared to be the same just now.

Look up two posts from yours and you'll find a link to where I got them.

Honestly, I dont know if it will be made anytime soon as there may be a freeze in making them, but they took my payment. *shrug*🤷*♂️

Interesting...they must not be advertising the link on the main site because it's taking so long. Now I can't order the plate I want because I ordered a generic black one in the interim.

Maybe if you posted it on a German car car forum. Oh wait, that's where we are. I was going to get M Vier, but it just looked a little odd to me for some reason. They don't allow hyphens. M Drei is already taken in Ohio
