little update: So i flashed back to stock, measured the oil it still shows minimum "add a quart". i know 100% i have 6.5 liters in there. So i went to bmw and got 7 liters of 0w30 and a oil level sensor. Installed it idled car for 30mins and measured the oil and again it shows minimum "add a quart", at this point i called it quits and just ignored it. No matter what i do if i measure the oil it will show minimum.

reflashing only fixed it for 30mins till the car measures itself.

Update: Problem has been resolved. Turns out when my car got flashed by vf engineering hex stage 1 tune, they flashed my car with GTS dme settings. In turn when i flashed over the tune with BM3, the DME was thinking my car was a GTS, hense why the oil level was never correct and always showing low even if i had 7liters in the car.
BM3 customer service, remote in to reflash the DME and everything went back to normal.

Having this same issue, just did an oil change today to be certain I have the correct amount.

I did do a GTS flash so this sounds like the same problem I'm having...will flash again tomorrow to see.

Did you confirm this is the same issue? Just bought a car with GTS flash and after driving it for a long period of time it through a engine oil level low. Bought a new sensor and oil change, but I'm thinking it's flash related now.

Just curious. Why flash back and forth so frequently? Are you running ethanol?
