Any pictures of the how the splitter support brackets fasten to the frame, by chance? GT4 aero is next on my list. Absolutely epic car! Any more pictures of it?

It's not difficult to install but you need lots of parts and they are not cheap

Good lord, this looks amazing. Have you had it on track before/after? impressions?

I was specifically told the GT4 wheels would not work with GTS clearances. By Bimmerworld, if I'm remembering correctly https://www.bimmerworld.com/Wheels-T...8x11-ET30.html

You sure about GTS fitment?

Impressive!

I do like the look of the 18 inch wheels with taller sidewalls.

As for the aero, looks awesome but would never be able to get into my driveway without ripping it off.

The stock splitter lip clears when it's in the fully retracted position, but just barely. And only because it's not full width...

I test fit an 18 by 11 et 24 with a 295/30 A052 on my GTS and it fit with room on the inboard side pretty easily. It poked a little too much but I imagine the GT4 wheel with the appropriate spacer would fit pretty readily as well. I currently run a 10.5 et 27 with a 295/35/18 and there is plenty of space to the strut. It's a different suspension set up from stock now but I believe** it would still fit with the stock suspension. I think what OP saying is well within the realm of possibility with the right amount of thought and can do attitude.

It sounds like his clear because he swapped out his ccb's for the 380mm big brake kit.

Can confirm, an 18x11 fits up front, I run 18x11 +44 square EC-7 w/ a 25mm spacer up front. Really nice being able to rotate front to rear.

Can't recall, you running street ride height? Looking back on my exchanges, it was outboard/fender that Bimmerworld indicated would be the issue --

While there are a number of differences between the GTS & regular M4 suspension, none of those changes make wheel fitment any easier. You can fit a 10.5" with around 3.5-4* of negative camber. You are still looking at a lot of work required to make the 11" fit in the front. If your goal is performance, you'd be better off switching to MCS dampers than trying to cram that last 0.5" under the front fenders.

Bimmerwold told me same thing Gt4 race car has same front upright like street car buy all lower control arms are short and different plus on those wheels you need to run 32mm spacer up front.
GTS has revised CNC upright with more camber .
I run square 285/35R18 PS4S because Michelin don't make PS4S in 18" size.
My f80 has full GTS suspension and I don't run any spacer up front

Just a note, and take this with a grain of salt because my car is on different suspension, but I am currently running a 295/35/18 A052 square on a 10.5 et 27 in the front and an 11.5 et 43 in the back. The front barely touched the fender liner at full lock but I think that's more an alignment issue as I've been fiddling with spring rates so my alignment is definitely off. However, I ran a 295/30/18 A052 with no fitment issues at all.

I realize this thread is an 18 by 11 front wheel but if someone wants to take the plunge a 295 may work with these as well.

Street height, but I don't imagine I'll run into clearance issues lowering the car. I'll be lowering it in March when I pull it out of storage. I'll try to mount a GoPro to watch the front left corner.

I know this thread is a year old but I am becoming very interested in running these GT4 wheels and since the GTS is slightly unique in it's front carrier I thought this would be the best place to discuss. I also am aware wheel fitment is highly dependent upon many factors including tire size, ride height, camber settings, suspension components, etc, but that's why I'm trying to consolidate info to determine minimum requirements for a GTS with original suspension (plus camber plates of course).

Essentially I want to figure out what is the minimum needed to get them to fit on the GTS. The OP says only the front brakes which I have taken care of via AP 9668, however there is a lot of differing information out there on the requirements for fitment up front (rear should be bolt on provided enough camber).

I'm currently around 3.2 front camber maxed on my Millway plates which doesn't seem to be a lot given the GTS knuckle is supposed to provide more camber than the standard M4. I don't want to change the coilovers since I like the KW 3 ways, and since it is a linear spring that is less concerning to me than a progressive one (although the perch is lower than the tire and I don't really want to swap to shorter springs).

Is anyone here running the GT4 wheels on their GTS and if so I'd be interested in chatting before I pull the trigger on them and realize it's a lot more work that I had hoped

Gonna take a guess here...

- GT4 Wheels 18x11 et30
- 90mm (maybe longer) wheel studs
- 10mm+ wheel spacer
-295/3x, 305/3x, 315/30 tire
- -3.2+ camber

Maybe Needed Suspension Parts:
- SPL e9x LCA (1" shorter than f8x)
- SPL tie rods

Total side note...I'm running an 18x10.5 w/ 295/30 tire and -3.3 camber without an issues lowered at track height. There is still a huge gap up front as track height isnt very low and I have a short 30 series tire.
