Tracking your ordered F80 M3?

Has anyone in the U.S. tracked there M3/M4 on the BMWNA website, that they ordered, and found that it is in production. If so can you tell me where your from. I'm not getting anything out of my dealer and thinking about getting my deposit back and saying F*&( It.

I tracked it online, but it is always behind the actual schedule.
On the phone I am told that it finished production... online it still is in production.

You really should get onto your dealer and push him to provide feedback.
Otherwise you can also call the hotline and talk to a representative, they are able to provide you with further information.

I've been trying to track my order on the BMW website, but then realized that dealer provides more recent and detailed information about my car production. If your sales rep. doesn't give you any information about your order, it seems that there is something wrong and you might want to go to another dealership.

I still can get it, what exactly you want to hear from your dealer, if you're asking him about your exact delivery date or smth like this, he won't tell you because nobody knows exactly...However, he should provide at least your production number etc.

You do know you're going to kill yourself doing this? My advice is to forget all about it. Be patient and wait until the dealer gives you a call. How do I know this? Been there, done that. Back in 2001/2002, to be exact.

Cheers.

Waiting is agonizing. I haven't heard from my dealer in about 6 weeks even though he promised me updates. I emailed him a couple of weeks back asking if he knew whether 20" rims would fit the M4 and got no answer back.

I have been considering getting an MB C63 or an RS5 but the lack of a manual transmission and the fact I hate V8s are the only things that have deterred me... so far...

Seriously, you are better off asking the folks here about non approved wheels than asking your CA. Whatever answer he gives you, I'm sure he has no clue. Besides, you didn't exactly give him a lot of info to work with.

I just called and he did say 20" will fit but also said that the cost is about 5k... that's way too high.

I just called him and he said my car is in status 121 which is pre-production. He says there is no reason for it not to go to status 150 (start of production) within the next 3 or 4 days, it takes a week to build and 5 weeks to get Stateside so I think I will be getting my baby for my bday!!!!! (Jul 28)

These are for the 2014 435i but they will obviously fit an M4.

Let's keep our fingers crossed! If this is true, congrats! What was your production week that the CA originally gave you? I'm guessing 24/25.

Sweet, you're on track brother! Keep us posted with your delivery, I really hope the 5 weeks transporting is correct, and it would be nice if you got it before/on your birthday 'cause that will make a bomb bday gift! My CA told me mid July build, delivery probably beginning Sept. That's guessing like 7-9 weeks.

That's three pages of "Individual Rims". Which particular model is it that you were considering? Whatever, I thought you had in mind aftermarket wheels.

Cheers.

Sorry ersin but the link doesn't show you exactly what I see, you have to select 2014 435i and then you will see the 20" options. I had no intentions on buying after market rims for a car like that, this isn't a '98 Civic.

My status shows car has been ordered but hasn't moved on to production. That is my question has anyone moved onto production after the order is confirmed. My status number is 111.

Ah, the 405M. Not too shabby. Still, there are some very nice aftermarket wheels, even for BMWs. Of course, some of them are even more expensive than the 405Ms. But, you can get some really great wheels, depending on what you're looking for, for cheaper. Good luck.

Cheers.

After discussing it with myself I decided my 19" rims are going to cut it.

Nothing wrong with that. Except that it really looks like the wheel wells are going to need filling out in this car and I was hoping we could see 20" wheels here in pics soon.

Cheers.

Did your SA give you a production week? If not, what month build is it?
