How to tell if the crank hub upgrade is done?

Is there anyway to tell if the crank hub upgrade is done?

Yea, take out the crank hub and see if it upgraded. If there is no info from a previous owner this is your only option.

Or possibly drop the oil pan and see if it appears stock or keyed, one piece etc...

The simple answer would be to drop the oil pan to get eyes on it.

Haven't ever tried but its probably possible to get a borescope in there if you are able to finesse it into position and get a good angle on it.

I am sure this car is familiar to a bunch of you! Nour Hummadi brought his M4 to help him on his overall rebuild. Of course you can't rebuild this car without doing your due diligence and getting that crank hub upgraded! Much more to come with this beautiful M4!

Haha I keep wondering this as well if the previous owner changed it. My car has a tune and has been getting tracked so I'm always worried. I Guess I'll find out soon, I called SSR on Monday I'm going to try to make an appointment for March.

Why can't you just post the price? Does it go against forum rules?

it's against forum rules to post prices or links outside of the commercial section. Please feel free to check SSR or our website for a price. You can also dm us or SSR directly

Get it done people! I have a stock 2018 M3 ZCP and I'm having it done right now. My mechanic said it was at the 5 o'clock and would spin at any time. Sucks we have to go through this, but it's a problem obviously. Also glad I'm here in Germany. Only 1,100€ for install.

Hey!

We don't have a recommended installer in that area but if you call around and find a BMW specialty shop in the area we will be more than happy to communicate with them to get your car done! Thank you!
