Definitely September at best. I ordered early this month and not scheduled to be built until end of month and then delivery etc.

Anyone know if there is anything you can do in the "garage" section? In the old mybmw you could go into the car and it would give you the details and let you do some other things.

When I log into the new portal it just shows my cars but I cant click on them or do anything so missing the old portal. Maybe it's just broken right now?

Other than tracking a new order, I haven't figured out any other functionality of the site for a car you already have.

The dealer called and told me they received my car Thursday night. It is Saturday morning and My Garage still shows the car "In Transit"

Edit: It is now Sunday morning. Car has been at the dealer for over two days and My Garage still says "In Transit.

Edit: Tuesday Morning 11:00 AM. I am on the way to pick up my car which is still listed "In Transit".

Edit: Tuesday Evening 6:00 PM. The car is parked in my driveway and is listed "Delivered"

Yeah it’s a nice concept, but the information isn’t updated enough to provide the accuracy most of us would want to track a car. Mine got to the Performance Center a couple of days before it said “at the dealer” and also said “delivered” days before I actually took delivery. I found the dealer still has the best info throughout the process - even better than what a BMW Genius will tell you.

My car arrived at the port yesterday (was on the WW Toscana). BMW Genius told it will arrive at the dealer August 5th. Really excited, my first M car.

We took Euro Delivery of my wife's M3 on Wednesday, July 18. We dropped it off at TT Auto Transit at CDG (Paris) on Monday, July 30. Prior to leaving on our trip the status was "Final Assembly" for almost a month.

After we arrived home on August 4, the status was "Finish", bypassing

• Ready for transport
• Awaiting carrier transport
• Dispatched from factory
• At the port (NO!)
• In transport (Yes, but after more than two weeks after drop-off they still don't know where it is yet)
• At the dealer (definitely NOT!)

I called the BMW Euro Delivery Hotline on Monday, August 6, one week after drop-off and they had no record of where the vehicle was. Same for Friday, August 10, and today, August 15, 16 days later. Today they said they would e-mail me when the "new data is uploaded into the system".

Mine went the exact same route on BMW site. I dropped off in Paris as well. They were able to give me shipping info at BMW about 11 days after drop off (drop off 6/25 got info 7/6). They gave me vessel then I tracked at vessel tracker. Has been sitting at VPC since 8/7 with no update although I’ve called genius line.

Does anyone using an iPhone or Surface Pro (windows 10) struggle with this and my bmw site? I login and the thing goes into an eternal loop...can't access it!

neither of those but same thing happened to me on my desktop using different browsers and Android phone.


ended up making a new account and it went through. sometimes it takes a few tries to login.

Yes I have had these issues as well on my iPad and iPhone. Works fine on my PC. I am guessing something to do with site recognizing a mobile device and trying to redirect to a mobile version.

Depends on the departure point and destination. Ships leaving from Bremerhaven take about 7-12 days to reach the East coast of the US, and they may make several stops along the way.

If you really wanna go NUTS - download "ship finder" APP, plug in the name of your boat - and go looney watching your boat make it across the Atlantic Ocean, down the East Coast, through the Suez Canal in Panama , then up the coast towards Mexico....and finally to Port Hueneme in Ventura, CA

When I ordered my m4 in December, I had both this site, and the older link to “ordering and tracking your BMW” (https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...hp?t=1181156); I’m pretty excited that I’ve made it to the “awaiting carrier assignment” stage...

It jumped 3 stages today from “quality check”, where it sat for 4-5 days. I am curious to hear about average wait times people have experienced at each of the stages, and how those times compare to observations 4-5 years ago in the older system.

Of course I’m dying to know when I can reasonably expect my own car to get to a port, etc. and will keep updating, but I also am just curious if this tracking + factory tech has changed predictablity

i was week 14 when i called bmw genius last week, but because of the color i assume they pushed it 4 weeks

I would assume I’m not the first or only one to have their car get to the US port, only to stay there for more than a few days; this is day 11 for me. Does this mean that there is some problem with customs or the car itself?
