The M3 and the M4 will have the RPMs but possibly not if you get the manual transmission. Just like the E92 didn't have shift lights in manual cars.

Not at all, seems there are very many US M3/M4 drivers here, its always interesting to get the views of others in different countries and notice BMW does different packages of options in different continents.

Just so it's clear, I was attempting to address your question "I thought this is a world-wide and not US forum?" with my reply. It seemed to imply that you felt there was something about this poll that was explicitly excluding those from outside US from answering. I'm happy that it was not the case.

Based on the discussion in the other thread between Technic and Mkoesel, I asked my dealer if I could order HUD as a standalone special order. The first reply from BMW Canada is that they are not willing to brake HUD away from the premium package. My dealer said they will try to insist a bit more, but I don't have high hopes . Sad because I would have liked HUD but I am not willing to pay $3000 for it...

I may order the F80 without it, I have it currently on my 535I
for me the HUD its only helpfull to see the current speed I'm driving, the Nav system sucks big time where I live
I'm happy with my Iphone 5s/google maps
Also here in Florida you don't need the cold weather Pack, its get cold but the car comes already with front seats warmers

Only thing I need is CA and the HUD but its not worth 4k to me. I will miss CA though. I HATED when Id get loaner and I actually had to take the key out of my pocket!

in Germany you can get it without any package. I took a look at it.. and its really cool!
