I've tried them and I'm working with these guys on this and they have yet to provide me a working IO2 for our cars. I've been told that the F8X platform uses a new style "Titania" O2 sensor and that the signal out put is different. I've had two different style IO2 devices in my car and none of them work! I'm still waiting for these guys to send me their next attempt at getting a compatible unit made for our cars...
Thanks for the update, definitely keep us posted!

Just exchange email with these guys again...

No updates, no new schedule, just the shallow promise that they "are still working on it"...

At this point I don't think they have a clue what they are doing. Its been over a year I started working with them and they haven't asked for any new data or asked me to test anything since last fall.

They just keep telling me they are "working on it"...

So they either don't know what they are doing or they just don't care. Their website still says that the device is "100% compatible with all vehicles" but they know damn well that MANY modern cars wont work with their stuff (BMW's, Porsches, Audi's, to name just a few)

If they keep stringing me along, my next step is to file a claim of false advertising with the Canadian BBB and Competition Bureau...

Well that sucks! I followed their LONGGG process for development for the N55 when i had my '13 E92 and was pleased with the result. I was hoping they would be my answer when i install a downpipe.

Yup, I purchased two of the I20 units over a year ago. First they accused me of installing them improperly and then of damaging them. Then, once I sent them the photos and info regarding my install, and asking them to tell me specifically what I did wrong, they agreed I did everything right and no damage had occurred. Then they changed their story to "The M3/M4 has a different kind of O2 sensor (titania)"... They also said they knew Audi also uses similar sensors... Interesting...

So then I started "working with them". I even sent them full Oscilloscope signal traces for the BMW O2 sensors. (This was last fall!) Putting my car up on a lift, wiring in the oscilloscope, running the car, getting the scans was no small effort on my part. They sent me another I2O unit to test and despite the fact that it behaved no different than the "original" I2O's (it didn't work), they declared it some sort of success... They claimed they now had all the info they needed.

They were supposed to get me a working I20 unit before the end of last year... Then it was by April (when my track opens)... Then it was "soon"... and now its still "soon"...

These guys know they have a product which DOESN'T WORK on MANY vehicles (BMW, Audi, Porsche at least) yet they still advertise 100% vehicle compatibility. Maybe they should take a little time from their massive development effort to update their website to reflect the TRUE compatibility facts!

I have absolutely no indication of any progress whatsoever since they first declared our BMW's were incompatible last Summer. I'm getting ready to walk away from this project completely and light a fire under the BBB and Canadian Marketing authorities (false advertising) as I walk out the door...

These guys are either unable or unwilling to update the product to work with our vehicles. They have been stringing us along for over a year with absolutely no signs of progress. This smells distinctly of dishonesty!

it did absolutely nothing different than the original two

Anyone try these or similar solution on the F8X (not 7) platform, yet? Specifically interested in whether they keep the o2 sensor in a ready state AND if they enable successful pass on emissions test.

Call Fabspeed and ask.
They sell to a lot of specialty shops, I'm sure they wont have an issue getting you in contact with someone

What do they hit? The pipes themselves or the wall?

So has anyone tried the fabspeed spacer on a different downpipe other than the ER downpipe?

If the bungs are in the same OE location, they wont fit.

Sorry forgot about this thread. They hit the pipes. These things are pretty big and are pretty much legit mini cats. The length of the actual o2 harness is a problem as well. The tech told me that it may be possible to angle them a different way but there's not enough slack in the harness.

Here's a pic. I think I have average size hands. If these were to fit they'd sell hundreds.

Somebody try this and report back :-D

I really like the fabspeed solution, but looking at videos of where the O2 sensors screw into the DPs, it doesn't look like there's enough room for that at all. There has to be a solution...

Unfortunately for those of us in e-check counties/regions, catless DPs are impossible.

I have a diesel truck with a straight turbo back exhaust, but you can register those commercially and it's a non-issue. Think I could convince the DMV that my M4 has a GVWR of 10,000+ lbs?

Bump... any proven S55 solutions for this yet? Few items were pending in this thread but no proof of results from what I see. Thanks

this one looks like it would work well. I bought the one from Big Daddy's Garage for my other car and didn't work. The pre and post voltages were identical.

If you're tuned, could you use an o2 extender just for clearance issues on the on the down pipe or will it start throwing error codes because the o2 sensor is not directly in the down pipe?
