M3/M4 Group European Delivery

Has anyone tried to do a group ED? I have a few friends that are or will be in the market for BMW's, and it would be awesome to do an ED all together. We were wondering if anyone has tried to make arrangements to pickup on or around the same day/week with multiple ED orders? If so, were they willing to work with you in scheduling? Was it a hassle? ect...

Thanks!

Yea there was a big group who all went and picked up the new M5s when they first were out at the Welt.

We need exact dates first and foremost, looks like June will be the earliest to pick up the F8x at the Welt ( According to Jason ED will begin "VERY VERY early this summer)

I'll be going in late June or early July, depending on release, etc.

Yep, 20+ of our M5POST members went over to take delivery on the first day of European Delivery. Here was the list: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=693552

And here was the article on it (for anyone who missed it):
http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=739733

The word EPIC is often overused, but it's appropriate to describe that day.

wasn't he referring to the delivery to dealers in that response?

i've been under the impression ED wouldn't start til September, which sucks as I'll be in Europe in August for a wedding.

Nice vid, but these those guys are gushing about their NEW car, and they cold rev it to 5,000 RPM???
Racing suit for pick up???

I hate to hate, but seriously?
At least the blonde was cute.

A group Euro delivery would be pretty cool. I have 3 guys who want to do it next year or the following year depending on pricing.

Spoke to a dealer today, they have 2 M3/M4s in their pipeline (not production) right now so I think you should be good for August pickup

So going in July is plausible at the moment?
Damn. It's either take advantage of the great lease rates for the F10 M5 ED or wait 3-4 more months and end up paying the same monthly albeit for an M4!

Seems like a tough decision for you since you already have a 991 GT3 coming in.. I'd still take the M4 over the F10 M5 though (But that's just me)

There has been NO OFFICIAL info regarding ED released to any dealers.

Jut a FYI to everyone. I keep reading all these post about people who have been told by their dealers and sales rep about orders etc.. which in fact the only thing we know or have known to this point is that dealers got to spec out LAUNCH cars the way we wanted them and those cars are to start production sometime in April next year.

There is no info on Allocations, ED, Price, "production" colors/options etc.. fingers crossed there will be another color introduced for order on productions models but chances are no.

Just want to clarify this for everyone so there isn't any confusion out there. Any official info we get from BMW I'm sure will be relayed to all of you once we get it by myself or your BMW center of choice.

I would assume ED would start right at the beginning but who knows. Im sure we will all have more info on everything come jan or feb

Grabbing dinner the night before and the night of was excellent, made some good friends, and that was worth the entire trip. Considering going for this one as well (Sakhir/Black M4?)...

I'm told that the first EDs may be around Memorial Day weekend.

Would love to know more. I've been to ST a few times for service and what not. Love the service there and want to place an order for an M4 asap.

^^Def, as soon as we get any info I will be sure to post it up. Most of the time Jason gets the info before us dealers do so either way as soon as anything is released you can be sure it will be here on the forums.
