Pic request for those that removed headliner

I’m working on a roof swap and have no clue where the roof bow installs. Could anyone snap a pic for me? Thanks all!

So did your CF roof get damaged? Or did you have a steel with sunroof and you are converting to CF?

How did the removal go?

I had the sunroof. It's not to difficult of a job, just need a good spot weld drill bit and a lot of time. Air chisel was a huge help.

Dude, way to go! I know a lot of people have considered this but everyone claimed it would be too difficult. It would be sweet if you documented the process. Where did you find a roof bow? Will you need a different headliner or other parts?

I saw all of those comments too. Seemed like a fun project to me so I just did it.

Roof bow is an oem piece that I riveted in. You would need a new headliner, roof control box and some coding.

This car is going full track duty now so I don’t need any of that stuff. I do have plenty of pics so maybe I’ll write something up when this is done.

Badass! And I like your attitude. "Everyone says this will be hard, so I'll skip the typing and just do it!"
