Brembo GTR or CCB

Hi,

I want to replace my OEM blue brake with something else.

Majority is for street driving with one or two times tracking every summer. I am leaning towards CCB retrofit but Brembo GT/GTR with iron disc also seems very decent.

However, I have one question about Brembo BBK. I know CCB retrofit will need replace brake booster but for Brembo GTR kit, no modification is required for braker booster. Will that be a problem ?

Thank you !!

For the type of driving you do, it sounds like the stock brakes would do just fine.

With that said I have the Brembo GT 380mm front and rear kit on my car and it does require any modifications to the brake booster. You also have the choice to go with the 405mm rotor but that will limit your wheel choices. The GTR kit looks amazing but is overkill times 100 unless it's for looks or serious track duty.

If you are planning to change wheels for the track days with the OEM CCB's you'll find that your choice of 19" wheels that will clear them is limited as well so that's worth considering.

Get yourself some Brembo's man! You won't regret it. I might be selling my semi-new GT-R brakes soon btw

It doesn't require any. That was a typo.

Well made aftermarket kits have pistons sized to match the OEM brake system so you shouldn't need to change anything.
