I'm being told in order to do ED, I will need to order now and pick up in March at the latest. BMW is not accepting order past that apparently. Anyone know if this is true? I was planning on a 9/19 pick up to coincide with Oktoberfest.

Sounds right for MY19. They go out of production in 2/19, and the. The 2020s start getting built shortly after.

Although BMW has held cars for 2-3 months after building for ED so who knows.

aren't they making the F82 M4 as a 2020 model year as well? You can just order it in april or may as a 2020 model.

SOP for individual colors for M4 convertibles is slated for 1/2019; is there any indication when they will start taking orders, though?

All of the differences are pretty minor. Off the top of my head here were some discussed in this or another thread:
1) Active Driving Assistant now standard
2) Apple CarPlay now pre-installed (but a monthly subscription)
3) Red start/stop button

If there are any more I'd be interesting in knowing about them!
