About time for a new M4 comp pack
Hello everybody!!
Thereīs been a while since my last post, but here we are again I recenly sold my beloved E90 M3 2011 And jump to this new adventure no looking back I ordered at the local dealer in my country place (Merida, Yucatan, Mexico), a 2019 M4 with competition package and individual colour British Racing Green and Amaro Brown interior My question is, how long will be placing the order? (sales manager told me two weeks ago, he asked for the car to plant) Iīve been told the car with those specs will take 4 to 5 months to arrive I have to be patient, learn from the other members experiences and try to save the most for the car, altough I think I get a good deal Any response will be gladly welcomed Best regards and happy M days to everyone!! |

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1181156 In short, you're about right the the delivery time based on where you live. Individual colors take quite a while to get onto the production line. Around 3-4 months seems like the average delivery time, but it also depends on what time of the year you place your order. I recently took delivery of a Tanzanite Blue M4 and it took a little over 3 months. I want to think British Racing Green may take just a little bit longer. Do you know if your dealer had an allocation available? That also plays into the delivery date. |

Congrats man!
Trust me, the long wait will be sooo worth it once you take delivery of the car. Regarding the time frame, there are so many variables. It may take 3 or 5 months. In my case, it took a little over 5 months and I'm not even in the west coast. Some people said it was because of the time of the year and that the factory in Germany closed for over a week due to the Holidays. This is my experience. BMW M4 Car ordered on 08/31/17 Production started on 11/17/17 Production ended on 11/29/17 Car left Bremerhaven port on 01/10/18 and headed to Southampton (VESSEL: DOVER HIGHWAY) Car left Southhampton on 01/13/18 and arrived arrived in Baltimore on 01/22/18 Car arrived in Orlando on 02/08/18 Good luck and congrats again! |

Thanks R-M4 & trey100 for your comments!!
Updating, the sales manager of our local dealer wrote yesterday to let me know that I have a code & pro order number (whatever it means)!!! I am pretty sure that this particular dealer doesnīt have the allocation that trey100 told us about The manager also told I donīt have a chassis number yet, altough delivery date is april, wich I assume as unreal I think that I will be in the same position R-M4 was Best regards to everyone!!
