Demo discount question
How much discount before 4500 rebate should I expect for 2018 Executive demo M3 ZCP pretty much fully loaded. MSRP 83k+.
15% off is OK? Thanks |

Not totally apples to apples but I just picked up a 2018 demo X1
$47k MSRP 4k miles on it Asking $39k Got it for $37k That's 22% off, then the $4500 rebate. Again, not apples to apples but I think there's usually more wiggle room beyond 15% original MSRP.

A demo is a used car. They will tell you since it hasn't been titled that it isn't. It is. I like Chris_DM post. 22% off. I'd start there. Not to mention you've got how ever many miles on those tires that only last 10-15k. They shouldn't make a profit on a demo, and in my opinion, they should take a loss. Demos are a cost of doing business, or a perk to the sales person or executive.
I used to work at a car dealership. I'd tread carefully buying a demo, and I would buy one, but at a used car price. |
