Swapped my HRE FF04's for BBS LM's

So...I decided to move away from my HRE FF04's to the BBS LM's. I needed to remove the HRE's prior to the BBS's arriving and went back to the Stock 666's.

Here's are some pics of the HRE's, Stock wheels and preview of the BBS's

Thanks to the team at Turn 14 and Thompson Performance group (Thompson BMW) for helping to make the happen.

Don't quote me, but I believe they are,
20x9 et15 (f) and 20x10 et20(r). Tires are Michelin PSS 265x30x20 and 285x30x20

Can't go wrong with LM's. One thing I've noticed is that LM's are hard to photograph for some reason. I feel like mine always looks better in person than how they look in my pics.

Do you rub at all in the rear?

LM' s are sick wheels

But the OEM sizes suck on the F80 platform

They do but there isn't an option that I am aware of if you want to keep the FORGED BBS barrel/lips which is much needed for our roads. Once you go custom 3piece spec you are using inferior parts imo. Wish BBS would sell custom barrels but they dont!

You can use HRE parts to get the BBS wider

^^ i read about that but HRE barrels are not forged as well.

Adding to this...

Nothing beats a BBS Japan original wheel that hasn't been molested by some aftermarket/garage peasant. Finish, run-out values, proper assembly bolts, loctite, the overall integrity vetted by motorsport experience.

I would ditch my 20" BBS FI-R wheels before a Trump supporter would think to yell MAGA at a Hillary Clinton tell-all book club gathering if BBS released F8X spec'ed BBS LMs. To my eyes, running 10" 285s v. 10.5"-11"/295s+ is a massive visual difference. I also can't stand spacers.

That BBS diamond polish lip finish is simply stunning and cannot be replicated outside the factory. The LM stepped lip is a one-of-a-kind design. That flat center profile with the most imitated/ripped-off y-spoke design.

Please, BBS, give us the LM dubs. I'll take black or silver. The Jordan 1s of the wheel world.

Could never spend 5k or more on wheels for the same sizes as OEM.

Floss Design does a amazing job on custom wheels.
