New GTS or New M2 Comp
I've been interested in a GTS for a while but was waiting until I sell my E30 Sport Evo. Well, I have an opportunity to purchase a new FG GTS for less than $96K, Full Warranty, Maintenance, M driver package etc. However, I have not sold the Sport Evo (it's not ready for sale quite yet), so get thing the GTS just now will be a bit of a stretch. I could pass and get a M2 Comp later but I think this is an opportunity not to miss (even although I would prefer one in BSM).
I have some serious thinking to do tonight |

Similar situation here. I have a 17 M2 PE, and found a local M4 GTS with 500 miles on it that I’m working on purchasing. Just waiting for the owner to provide the final selling price and hopefully will have a deal .
I did look at the M4 CS, but for the $$ they want new the GTS is a steal. Good luck on yours. |

Congrats, love it in white that was the big debate when I ordered mine but ended up with BSM.
I will probably sell my BSM if anybody is interested. It has 9 miles, still in dealer plastic, I hold title but it has never been registered always climate controlled storage. It was suppose to be a track car but 3 jobs and 2 houses and several cars later... well you know how it goes. I may consider a partial trade for a low mile, E92, manual, 2010-2011. If anybody is interested let me know. thanks |

Many with GTS have lots of issues. Be careful purchasing one.
I would go for M2 (unless u wanna track the gts) for sure (the M2 made car and drivers top 10) Here's link to GTS issues

No more issues on GTS than other M4s. Not one issue on mine in two years of ownership. This video has been posted a million times.

The issues with the car posted in the video is an anomaly. I have had mine for over 2 years with no issues. When I want to have fun I choose the GTS over several other cars. As stated in earlier posts of this thread, taking the car out is an event. As a sports car, it is head and shoulders above all other BMWs. The current price point is a steal for this car.

I was going to vote, but it looks like you made your mind up already!
Excited to see what you do with it! Hope you can do a photoshoot with the GTS and that very special E30 M3 before it goes away

Sometimes you see a thread title and think... what? Really?
To me, an M2 Comp and GTS are not in the same ballpark. Congrats to the OP! Hope you have great fun with the car.

Good luck with purchase and transport. I think you'll enjoy it. Bought mine 12/30/18 and have thoroughly enjoyed. Like the others have have said, it's an impressive car. The saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. There is a lot to the GTS.
Congrats! |

The final price was $95,985 plus $1500 shipping. Still have to TT&L once it's delivered.
For a new GTS with only 35 miles, full warranty, full maintenance , and M Drivers package, I think I got a great car for a great price! That's only a few $K more than the MSRP of a M4 Comp with CCBs and less than an discounted M4CS! |

I'm personally thrilled to see the prices for the GTS are finally climbing again. This car is special in so many ways, faster than a lot of more expensive cars, and is an occasion. The CS is not even in the same conversation as the GTS.
I'm not just saying all of this because mine's for sale, either!!
