Whats the fastest you guys have gone?

Hi guys I recently got my f83 up to 142mph and this made me wonder how fast other people have gotten there cars up to? Assuming most of us are limiter removed.

70mph which is the maximum allowable limit on Interstate Highways near me. Any higher is criminal behavior and you hate baby Jesus.

Adhering to this policy above, my last door to door trip from Miami to St. Louis took me 16 hours and 53 minutes (stopping only three times for gas) to drive the 1,251 miles.

I’m very good at math btw.

I drove 130+ for about 3 hours straight on the Italian Autostrade, their version of the autobahn (running between 210 and 220KPH). Way different than just reaching a top speed for a few seconds. People just know how to drive correctly there. I think their recommended limits are marked now-a-days. Around 90 to 95MPH - digressionary.

157 (indicated) is my max for about a 1/4 mile. In of all things, a Ford Contour SVC.

As far as my non existent wife and CHP are concerned my car hasn't seen a hair above 65 mph.

Could take my hands off the wheel and it'd still go straight (I didn't do that but it felt like it)

No vibrations, nothing. Got MPHAS too if that makes a difference.

Had Tommy's mudflaps on too and they stayed on for whats it's worth
