UK Take On M3/4

Found this very extensive article regarding the ///Manimal. I think it is most detailed early description that I've seen. If this is a repost you can e-slap me.

Some interesting highlights:

-M active suspension comes standard in UK
-19" wheels...standard
-heated seats, folding mirrors...standard

Here is the link:

Once again I apologize if it's a repost.

They are paying more for the f80/82 in the UK, might as well throw them a bone or two

Although, stranger things have happened in the name of profit, am I the only one who would find it strange a $60k+ 'luxury' car doesn't come with heated seats?

I'd like to hope that some of the normal luxury features are standard in this top of the line 3 series with a M badge.

While your line of thinking is perfectly sane and logical I will have you know that E9X M3 did not come with heated seats standard.

It probably won't come with them as BMW loves to make money off the multitude of options. I always found it interesting that the base model and a fully optioned one could differ by $20k (just a broad estimation but you get the idea) which is roughly 1/3 of the original starting price of the car itself.

Porsche does the same thing though, so not like BMW is alone in this. I think Acura is a bit better about that but they don't exactly offer anything competitive to make most performance addicts take a glance (not since the NSX anyway).

I hear you, I made that mistake when I bought my first BMW which was E92 M3. I though I was buing top of the range car with everything already included. I was dead wrong. Oh well, I still pulled the trigger on it.

Let's not even talk about Porsche options...that stuff is out of control.

Say that, "I'm driving a saloon in America", and people will think you are running a brothel or some sort.
