Nice looking car. Do you know what % tint you have on the front windows? 35%? 20%?

After almost 3 years of ownership, it was time for a new valve cover. So I decided to take care of the crank hub as well.

Nice, out of curiosity, how did the timing guides look? Any wear? Whats your current mileage?

I'm in exactly the same boat. 2015 F80, valve cover failing, and about to do crank hub at the same time. Applaud you for taking it on yourself, that looks like a massive PITA and I'm happy paying someone to do it

The timing guide looked fine, but I replace it anyway. The car has about 69 k miles.

Great thread.

How difficult to pull the front bumper off? I’ve got a ton of crap in there, and considering it one of my winter projects before track season starts in April.

Thanks again for sharing your story.

Been going down the rabbit hole lately, as much as I love the HRE’s wheels. I miss having 18’s, and it was time for a change. Got some TE’s 18X10 square with 275/35 in Evo gray. Mosselman turbos on the way as well.
