Another HAS on the market from AFe Control - nice spring rates
https://afepower.com/afe-control-var...height-springs
From AFe's website below. Note the spring rates! aFe Control would like to introduce the Variable Height Springs (VHS) for the 2014-2016 BMW M2/M3/M4 (F80/82/83/87) chassis. The VHS system was developed for enthusiasts who desire the ride height adjustability of a coil over while still retaining their OEM adaptive factory shock absorbers. The system features slip on coil over sleeves for the front struts that are TIG welded, and zinc plated for maximum durability. Installation is simple, just press off the factory spring seat and replace with the aFe Control VHS. The system includes mounts for the OEM accelerometers and sway bar. M specific front springs are included and feature a progressive 224 lb/in" rate while offering 0.5 “ to 1.5 “ of lowering. In the rear, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum ride height adjusters also offer 0.5 “ to 1.5 “ of lowering and maintain the factory spring location for quiet operation and strength. The 700 lb/in" rear springs were developed specifically for this application to maintain proper balance with the adaptive ride shocks. Elevate your driving experience with the comfort, precision and excitement of the aFe Control Variable Height Springs (VHS). Also Fits: BMW M2/M3/M4 F80/82/83-87 14-16 non adaptive ride |

Those spring rates are quite soft. Basically tiny bit stiffer than CP.
M3 (Civic) Front - 177 lbs/in Rear – 591 lbs/in M3 (Comp. Pkg) Front – 198 lbs/in Rear – 685 lbs/in Eibach Pro Kit Front – 183 lbs/in Rear – 628 lbs/in afe Front 224 Rear 700 GTS Front 400 Rear 685 Me Front 628 Rear 1,028 I drove a M4 GTS the other day back to back with my car. All the journo BS that it is rough, what absolute BS. It was SOFT! It needs to be stiffer. I have KW CS 3-way. Now it is a firm ride, which I like, but every time I turn the steering wheel it brings a smile to my face. The car handles now. I just ordered aFe upgrade sway bars through a re seller here. I hope they arrive with my GC Front end links. I also ordered the SPL upper rear adjustable arms, which will complete the set, and sit above the Dinan rear toe links.

"OEM adaptive factory shock absorbers"
Is this only for the cars with the adaptive suspension option? |

Can I assume KW HAS is the same as the MPE HAS. I go over a bridge every now and again the the car bounces a lot over in a section thats about a mile long. Not sure how to fix this. Car has KW HAS but is not slammed.

No the kw is not the same rates. They are softer IIRC.
If you haven't already and have an older spec car, I've heard the newest I STEP update helps the ride immensely as among other things, it removes the logic that dramatically ratchets up the compression damping due to lower ride height. |
