Where will early model year M4 values be in 2019?
It seems that some 2015 M4s are already in the high 30s. What do you guys think M4 values will be like in January of 2019? Because there may be more cars coming off of lease and losing their warranties.

Doubt it will drop below the 30s for the next year or so for a 2015 if the E90/2 is any indication

The ones dipping in the high 30s are base models that are either miled up and/or have an accident on record
If you follow closed sales, many nicely equipped 2015s are still selling in the mid to high 40s Sure there are deals to be had just shop carefully! |

Yeah. I turned mine in back in June and it had 53k on it. It was worth, at best, 34k. Your are correct to assume yours won't fetch anywhere near 25k.

Values in 2019 will be lower than they were in 2018. Definitely still on the depreciation curve. But that should surprise no one.

Weird. I'd say most, if not all M3's and M4's in the Chicago area I've seen that are below 50k miles are still selling for mid 40's. Maybe in the areas like So-Cal / Florida where there are much more, the prices have really slid down?
About 2 months back I checked the dealer trade in value of my car through KBB, and it was still at $40k. And I've got 39k miles on my 2015. No executive package nor competition package. |

Personally I don't see them dropping below low 30s in 2019 other than rare examples (super high mileage, accidents, etc.).
Once you hit that number it's a whole new pool of buyers that could never afford these cars previously but can now make the jump and that will add a new market for demand and keep pricing from dropping much lower. Hell for low 30s I may buy one as a daily driver vs. paying the same price for a newer A3, A4, etc. as my daily.

Just bought a 2015 YMB M4 with 26k miles, $81K MSRP no accidents & 1 owner for $48,000. I'm in SoCal. Aiming to sell the car in 4 years with around 55k miles for probably $30,000-32,000. I'm looking at the E92 for a rough estimate on what it'll be worth! It all depends on the g80/g82 to see what the depreciation will look like down the road.

Dealership in PA offered me $49k for 2016 M4 with 14k miles on it ( I was in for an oil change n have no interest in a trade in as I own it ,no lease no loan and my DD until winter hits. My commute to work is 10 miles on all back roads so little to no road rash.

I just purchased a 2016 repo for 49.9k. F83, metalic white, full sakhir leather, exec pack, safety pack, adaptive suspension, 19" wheels, 90k msrp. Only had 26k miles, 14 months of factory warranty left. M4s in the 2015-16 age are all in the 40s
Lots of used M4s at one dealer here: https://www.offleaseonly.com/used-bmw-m4.htm
