iOS updates screwing with iDrive music
I store music on my iPhone and connect it to my car usually via Bluetooth. After the iOS 12 update, I noticed that iDrive was no longer reading the names of songs after the 100th in the list, and everything thereafter would appear as "song 101" etc. Irritating, but not hugely frustrating, and reshuffling the playlist would cause it to pick up a different 100 songs from the beginning, so I'd keep doing that.
After iOS 13, my HUD/iDrive controls no longer work to select songs in the list (but can browse through playlists and search etc just fine) when I'm listening to a playlist, but will work in any other function. This is driving me nuts -- does anyone else have the same experience/has anyone figured out a fix? I don't really want CarPlay, but starting to feel like that might be the only real choice here. |
