Hi,

@M4ever: Was stand denn in dem Schreiben explizit drin?

Leider in englisch....ordered in April and picked it up last Monday here in Darmstadt. Not too many extras but with 19 zoll schwarzen felgen and in Austin Yellow. Was originally told KW 32, which was correct as it was delivered to the dealer then but picked up KW 33..

thanks for this. since I've ordered it back in April, I certainly hope their production scheduling system, ERP and whatever supply-chain processes they have; do some kind of "hard allocation", i.e. black 19" stock number 123 goes to car order 456. and it stays like that. then there wouldn't be a delay. however, if they just assign the wheels on a "round robin" principle to the production line, then... well, I don't want to know

I think they must have enough wheels as another set has just been delivered to my dealer yesterday for my car. One was damaged when they rolled it off of the car transporter and so they said they would replace them all instead of repairing it (its only a very small knock as well.) I hope they weren't wheels set for your car

(man muss jedoch beachten: US Highways und keine Autobahnen)

Hey, sorry for posting here in english but I have a question for other EU owners. I do not mind if you reply in German, I can read it without any problems, just my typing isnt so great in German!

On Friday I will be getting my 2.000 km service done and I was wondering if anyone who has already done this can tell me what it will cost? I would like to know since I will let de dealer do some other things aswell (spoiler etc.) so I can compare the price of the service alone.

LOL, I'll come up with my consumption figures in a couple of weeks then - I hope my "window of opportunity" between break-in service and winter tyres is going to last 3-4 weeks at least

service cost for the run-in / break-in service? it's free (in Switzerland, but AFAIK in other countries too), as all services are free until 100k KM on the clock (or 3 years, whichever is first). I think I only pay for the replaced parts (and oil), but the work is free. I know they do this for swiss cars (something about "the market expects this from premium brands"), however Porsche refuses to do so - also, Porsche doesn't offer ANY discount by principle (they are like the Louis Vuitton of the car industry). don't know about germany or other countries.

This is why I wanted to know, I doubt it will be free here to be honost! But you did pay for the oil at 2K km? Can I ask how much they charged you for the oil then, since they don't just change the engine oil, or anyone else?

I never had free services on my cars! Had BMW, porsche and mercs... This is why I ask and figure out what I can ask for or not.

Mein neuer absoluter Lieblingssatz
