Same for us, although my wife rarely drives the M3 (Or whatever our summer car is) on her own accord. We have a '15 228i THP and an E46 ZHP that we both drive.

I have an M3 on its way... Wife drives a Grand Cherokee Overland with the Hemi V8 which as far as bang for the buck is quite possibly my favorite car I've ever purchased. She'll be welcome to take my car whenever she wants just like she is with my current 335.

She has a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE. She has absolutely no interest in nicer cars, none. Not that the Highlander isn't a nice vehicle, it is, but she wouldn't know an M3 from a 320.

Tiny difference between us. Your wife clearly likes cars where as my husband sees them as well, something that has software in them, and wheels. Your wife probably knows quick car cpr, where as my husband calls me.

I asked once why he married me and the answer was a flattering his car needed to have an oil change and new tires.

Had an X5 but recently moved to MB ML550. She loves driving my cars (former owned of many M cars, Porsches, Vettes and a GTR and she grabbed the keys to all them although she was not enamored with the Vettes). Had a manual Audi S4 when I met her.

335

She is welcome to drive the M3 whenever, but doesn't because she likes her 335 a lot better than the M3 , since it has some features like HUD that the M3 doesn't, is quieter, and the option 704 passive suspension is much more comfortable than M3 passive suspension.

My wife drives a 2015 Toyota 4Runner, she is deathly afraid of driving my F82. She would rather drive a 2002 Toyota Corolla or borrow the neighbors Prius. I asked her why she is so afraid and her answer was "Too many things could go wrong!"

Before we were married or even engaged, when i owned a '12 GTR and we would go on dates she would order me doubles of bourbon till i couldnt see straight. And then proceed to Godzilla Mode the shit out of my car.

She drives the other M3 (Mazda3, lol)
She can't drive a manual and doesn't want to learn.

She drives a Honda Odyssey. Great minivan and very practical for hauling the kiddos around. She's welcome to drive my cars, but she can't drive stick so no go in the left seat on the M4. She hates driving my F250 because it "doesn't turn" and she once drove my old SMG E60 M5 and hated that even worse. I tried teaching her to drive stick in the E36 before it became a race car but it was futile.

If you haven't guessed already, my wife is blonde. I love her dearly and have fun with some of the things she says. She was at the track with me recently and was wondering why I haven't fixed the "hole" in the driver side headlight on my E36 race car because "it looks really bad". It's one of those fake headlight panels with a hole for airflow into the intake.

Range Rover Evoque. She hates my M4 and won't drive it. Best car I've ever owned.

She can drive a manual, but prefers the automatic convertible, especially here in FL. She has yet to drive my car, but I have offered! I also have a 2001 Mustang that she drives occasionally.

I let my wife drive whatever she wants. She chooses to drive our 2015 highlander limited and occasionally will take our FX 35.

She loves the M4, but is scared to drive it since its been a while since she's driven a MT. She's always wanted a BMW. When I took her car shopping last year, I said she can pick any car she wanted (within reason). I assumed she would pick a convertible 3 series as that was her dream car. She picked a highlander because it was one we could fill with children... A month later I got her pregnant with our first.

Audi Q7. Also tried to get her to get X5, but she preferred the Audi. At least she got the supercharged S-line version. heh.

She does drive the M4 occasionally though, and drove my last two M3 manuals as well.
