I replaced my secondary cats with an x-pipe and then straight-piped the resonator. It sounds quite nice IMO. Valves are also unplugged and I would say the car is tastefully loud. Tone-wise, the car is similar to OEM but is punchier/deeper and all lawnmower frequencies have been removed. There is an insane motorsport-sounding “rasp” at WOT around 3-3.5K which I use to offend raised trucks. Sounds nothing like the OEM rasp, and it fully transitions to more of a very loud M2-like exhaust note around 4.25k RPMs. The only criticism I have would be that I wish it was louder at higher RPMs. With the current setup the exhaust peaks in volume at around 4K and then doesn’t get louder.

Do you have a part number or link to the Magnaflow piece you used to modify your exhaust?
