yeah - i was on my 18" snows, and yeah, chi roads in general, and that intersection in particular are turrible.

fun fact - i had an x5 a few years ago. hit a pothole and bubbled the sidewall on it ... at. the. same. intersection. #chicago.

I had the X6 with Runflats AND the spare option. Of course, I wimped out and went with the 19s so I would not have tire issues. The 20s looked so good on that truck.
