I don't think any modern day car being should have any issue hitting 100K and way beyond. I can only see it as a problem if you abuse the living daylights out of the car AND not maintain it.

Timely maintenance and good gas...not to mention car accident avoidance, all make for a recipe of long life with the F8x.

You sneaky little thing! I've been waiting to hear when you come here so I can coordinate my running away to fit your time table and now I find out you've been trying to steal my well earned title as the biggest spender of petrol!

Ha!!! I will email you tomorrow to catch up - hope all is well!

Why not compare miles/month or day instead? It's much easier to compare.

I'm at 1714 miles/month.

Damn! I have some driving to do. 3 weeks and 1 day until we meet again. I left her with 675 miles after ED and will have 1500 or so when I get home. If only I didn't commute in a 737 most weeks...

My car was picked up in April and has 85 miles on it, but I've never driven it

It's cool, I get to see her for the first time in 11 days!

Picked up in July 2014. Funny thing is it isn't even my daily driver. I ride a motorcycle to work all year long weather permitting.

Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner! Seriously impressed with both you and Lups .

I take re-delivery of my M this weekend (maybe tomorrow) and i've been struggling with how much I should drive her. I don't need to make her a DD and don't plan on using her much in the inclement weather of the PA winters. But I easily put 20k a year on my cars. This summer alone I have trips planned (for son's hockey) to Chicago, 3 trips to Boston, Mississauga ONT, and Connecticut (not to mention numerous jaunts to the Jersey Shore) and i've been struggling about which trips to take the M on.

I like seeing that a few of you drive it everywhere!

The downside to working from a home office, I only have 4153 on mine, since December, even though I drive it every chance that I get. Most of you will probably be on your second, or third F8x before I hit 50k.

I'm not really worried about how many miles I put on it as long as I enjoy it. Heck, I'm paying all this money for it I might as well use it to its fullest and get my money's worth. I say enjoy it while you can and drive it til it dies. Rinse and repeat with a new and even better car.
