Anybody have a fit issue with the OEM CF diffuser?

Just wanted to check one more time before jumping in.

Thanks

Only problem I had was getting it to latch to the heat shield of the exhaust. Played with it till it fell into place.

Thanks, can I ask specifically what you felt you were doing wrong? Looks pretty simple but prior experience can make it look simple.

Okay, it’s done. Hardest part was masking the bumper and exhaust tips with blue painters tape as well as that sharp edge of the heat shield above the exhaust tips, just some extra precautions. Actually the only PITA was the bottom two clips, I saw videos of people just yanking the painted diffuser off, however if you take a small flathead screw driver you can unclip the diffuser tabs with no drama or damage. You will need to be under the car and you will see the white plastic piece has two tabs that engage on the diffuser tabs, lightly lifting the tab on the white piece allows the diffuser tab to disengage. Piece of cake, now that I have done one.

The fit is perfect, looks great on the car, and my wife loves it, except now she wants to kills the look of the car with a rienstone bling license plate frame, yikes.

Lol, I will probably put a CF frame on there, I don’t want weird looks for the times I am driving it.

Some before and after, shots, the CF diffuser should be standard on all M3/4.

Before

After

Very simple, the two front screws that bolt on to the heat shield can give you some headache (it did to me) but eventually you figure out and you are done.
I did not use any tape to mask anything if you are careful is pretty straight forward install 10-20 mins max taking your time for a first timer.

Looks good. The OEM CF spoiler goes well with it, BTW. Might be something to look into if you like spoilers.
