As far as it being worth it really depends on your budget and what you are after. The CI-R is a great wheel that gives you similar styling on a budget, but weighs more than stock (although .5" wider) and will never look as good (the relief holes make the FI-R) or be as strong as an FI-R. If you are on a budget, then BBS is a no brainer since they make a top quality product at any price point.

For me, I could not justify the price to myself when I first got the car in February and then I realized that putting CI-Rs on a 70+K car just did not make sense. I could afford the FI-Rs without any major sacrifices so in the end it was well worth the hit to my wallet. If you can afford it, I would definitely recommend going straight to the FI-R and avoid the path I took.
