Our RS6 delivery got delayed to the fall due to the chip shortage. My wife got a May production allocation in February, but in early May we were told it would be delayed to after the summer. While disapointed, we are not completely unhappy about this, as we found getting two new cars at almost the same time was a bit much and takes away some of the appreciation of each car. Something is still there to look forward to .

What about the new RS 3 though? One cylinder more so you'd not be driving a henry hoover. Tell you what, though, nothing sounds as bad as the Megane RS. whistling, whooshing and farting noises all at once.

Saw a Senna same day. So the count from South Florida is G8X:1, Senna:1. Selling like hotcakes down here. Design is clearly a home run.

All wheel drive is a bit of a give and take as rear wheel is the shit. From what people are saying the GTS steering and differential coding combined with CS EDC makes the M4 feel different and new again so maybe I should go down that road and maybe tune the GTS power on it for 50hp and 50nm extra while at it. Still got the GTS OLED style rear lights on order too New car is always fun and I've been craving a new car for no reason really, I love everything about the M4 and it's never given me any major trouble yet. It's fun to drive and stays planted on twisty roads and you can let her rip if you elect to do so at any time. It's not a bad daily either and it looks fantastic. So in the end I'm not really sure why I keep looking for a new car, I've been at it for a while now and every time I find a reason not to : If the A45S had the V6 at the very least I'd probably get it just for the hell of it but going to a 4 banger is a tough pill to swallow. |

But that's how I roll anyway... we get attached to the cars pretty heavily so end up owning them for a very long time. The record holder is the E91 at nine years. I'd buy it back if it had a different engine. And yeah, I've had the GTS coding done. It's good.

Hey guys, Cammisa's review on the G8x is out. Really enjoyable as I watch it. Goes into all the generations of M.
Enjoy! |

So much to love about this car and like I said I really have no reason to get rid of it Who did you get to do the GTS coding and are you running stock power with it? |

I know right, my dream garage would include both an E30 M3 and W201 2.3-16 (especially Evo versions), both awesome cars and pure Motorsport driven.

Stock 2016 non-Comp so it's got the rowdy engine map with gobs of torque down low.

I'm about to get the whole package from Alex at Alpine, GTS steering, diff and CS EDC which hopefully works well with the MPHAS and figured might as well throw in the Performance DCT whatever it does Aaaand the GTS power output I guess, hmm. I looked at Thor a while back for coding but 250 euros or whatever seemed a bit expensive just for some GTS bits. |

Lmk how it goes with him, I was thinking of contacting him actually. I'm 6MT and non-EDC so need just the EPS now to sort out. You could do a full CS suspension retrofit on your car to take full advantage of the EDC coding. Racer20 did a breakdown of parts needed. I think it's not that super involved to do apart from the rear anti-roll bar

He is usually very quick to respond to email but I'm not in a hurry either way. Just want to make my M the best M it can be while maintaining some OEM comfort and power levels. |
