Do you guys think the F10 M5 EU5 Injectors on stock fuelling system would be able to extract as much power on a custom E40 tune on full bolt ons and VTT GCs?

Given the nature of the single piston HPFP, we weren't able to push the stock injectors as hard as the S55 guys can, the EU5 injectors went in the same time as the "stage 3" HPFP. Yes EU5 injectors are not a direct drop in, a tune with proper calibrations, Injector compensation values coded via ISTA is required also.

What fuel type are you running? Are you running out of injector? HPFP?

As long as your tuner can calibrate for the EU5 injectors properly, it's a solid upgrade. I run them on my N55 M2 - just buy the injectors and decoupling elements from FCP Euro for the free exchanges.
Looks like your stock HPFPs have more room as well to support the higher ceiling provided by the EU5 injectors, but you'll eventually want the HPFP upgrade anyways: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=123

I'm definitely looking this direction for an S55 motor build I'm planning to hang GC turbos on. Before the plan was E85 through EU6 plus PI+LPFP for added fueling and valve wash. Now I'm looking at E85 through the bigger EU5 plus HPFP+LPFP.
The thing that has me on the fence is losing valve wash, but I may be overthinking. I could add meth to get the wash back...my IATs in summer aren't so high I need cooling. Limiting factor for me is my 6MT with stock clutch. I don't like breaking stuff and prefer to add improvements before catastrophes.

Switch to water instead of meth if you don’t need fuel but have this concern. It cleans, cools and reduces detonation. You don’t blow up your motor when the pump fails. I may have been through some things with aquamist on a previous car. Haha

I've heard only one tuner who has perfected the M5 injector swap including smooth idle, and that's Halim@HCP. Kratos said he's been doing testing work for them with the big squirters, and he has it all smoothed out.

Get someone that knows what's needed to calibrate and tune them correctly, no idle issues. My car idles fine, even with cat warm up turned off. It was even better when I had cold start turned on.

Halim's guys replied same day that they can do an EU5 93 tune for $600. They said an E85 tune might cost a little more depending on how many revisions you need.
