Coding US-Spec EDC for F80 Competition
Hi guys
has anyone in Australia done this recently and recall the setting to change? I know i need to VO code EDC but im not sure what value determines the EU-Spec EDC (which is what our cars come with) and the US-Spec EDC which has the softer comfort setting. thanks in advance

So i figured out the coding for the change to the US-spec EDC which has a more comfortable comfort setting which i was interested in trying
(sport and sport+ are unchanged). Basically its just the following: Read FA Change typschussel to 8M93 (this is the US spec F80 code, rather than 8M92 which is the australian/euro type code) Read VCM/SVT Activate FA find the VDC ECU (this is the ECU that controls EDC) Code DSC Note my car is an My18 F80 ZCP - settings may be different for non competition/non LCI cars. Helpfully this helps out any other members interested in a more comfortable setting for the daily commute. I definately noticed a difference after a quick 15 min drive, mainly more comfort over expansions, cateyes etc. Usual disclaimers that do this at your own risk apply

i actually just noticed an error in my OP - it should be code VDC not code DSC - DSC will indeed just code US MDM settings, rather than EDC setttings.
Sorry - my bad, have fixed the original post
