It's the real deal, just heavily stylized photos for effect.

I don't understand the wheels though--those look like they came from the X6M or the old M6?

The back end especially looks awesome...
The wheels are in line with F10 M5 and especially M6 Gran Coupe

Most interested in the width, and if in fact it is wider in the rear than a standard 4 series. I've been looking back and forth at the two for hours now and can't see a rear fender width increase, only front

If you look at the photos of the black test mules it looks a lot more obvious. Hopefully that turns out to be true.

I wonder if that is done to help you "let go" of the old one.

In my head, you would give it a new wheel or something classic like the CSL...but I am not a marketing person either.

Thanks for letting me know--I thought they looked familiar!

Oh my it is gorgeous!
The F32 looked good but this is spectacular. I wish I can afford it one day.

I wonder how heavy it'll be?
Below 3,500 lbs??

the .cz pictures are better as they show more the real car! when zooming in the m4post pics they lack resolution.

Yup, I'm loving it - reminds me of the E46 concept with the colour, just hope we aren't kept waiting too long. I'd like a UK launch mid next year please BMW

From BMW's press release:

Quote:
At the same time, the flat taillights located far to the outside, the wide track and the powerfully flared wheel arches underscore the car’s stable stance on the road. Horizontal lines accentuate the car’s width, lowering the visual centre of gravity even further.
Pretty sure that falls in line with the pictures clearly showing a wider flaring of the rear wheel arches than the regular 4-series!

Someone here mentioned early 2014 Release? If the production is to show at Detroit Auto Show, hopefully dealers will start accepting orders for ED come Spring?

based on that picture I'd say US/EU launch is soon certainly March 2014 looks very likely.. Usually UK follows 3-6 months later owing to right hand drive.

Neil.

the rear is superb, flows well and looks aggresive again like the E46. The diffuser and exhaust area is fantastic and the lines around the lights are superb also.

Front also looks very aggressive but the power dome I feel looks a bit inadequate compared to the E92 and E46.

Carbon roof with the M stripe - I hope that makes production
