I couldn't agree more. Although it's nice that I can find my car in a car park now with zero effort. It's just a sea of every shade between black and white out there lol

I couldn't agree more. Although it's nice that I can find my car in a car park now with zero effort. It's just a sea of every shade between black and white out there lol

And every other shade of grey! Lol

Black and white and all these bog standard colours seem norm that we actually forget the other colours exist!

Please please keep updating us with your build journals like they do in the states and hopefully it may inspire others!

The attention to detail in the engine cover etc shows that the levels these cars can be taken to!

I was never really a fan of green but this color looks amazing on your M4. Congrats.

You know, never thought I might like this color but the stitching contrast made the difference and shows that is a special order.
Flashy color indeed. Looks great. I think that the color is very strong so be careful to not go on the “too much green” side. A good green black balance is important.
Enjoy it in good health and have fun with it!

I agree. I'm done with adding any more green. Hence the carbon mirrors front intakes and rear diffuser and spoiler. Needs balance. I just didn't like the black skirts and lip.

Thanks for all the support. Little update. Car is half way to the run in service point so the painful period of staying under 4K rpm is almost over.
I've now fitted the MPerformance exhaust from my last M4 and it sounds insane. The tune in the comp pack makes a hell of a difference. Especially the overrun burbles. I also have a cg precision valve controller. The pairing of the two is unbeatable in my opinion.

I have also noticed a number of differences to my old car that you guys may find interesting. So here goes

Good changes from 2016 m4 to 2018 m4 zcp
- standard exhaust is far sportier in tone. Less of a let down than the original car. Overrun burbles are great and a welcome addition (mpe further enhances this)
- red start button. (It's just cool)
- seats are very comfortable even without lumbar support adjustment. I have back issues and have no problem in the zcp seats
- double click the unlock on the key fob and the window drops 2/3 open. Really useful when you can't get your door fully open
- usb in dash. Handy to have it to hand now
- new led adaptive lights are sooo much brighter than first edition adaptive leds. They are spectacular.

Bad changes from original car
- indicator storks. WTF have they done. We have gone from soft touch indicators to long throw clunky horrible ones that would seem at home on a 1984 ford escort. They are horrid and I now use my indicators even less than being a bmw driver naturally allows.
- can't find any more but I'll update this if I discover any. I'm all for transparency not just telling you about the good stuff.

Also went to London last weekend for my wife's birthday treat. Driving a bright green m4 through the city was an experience
