Is it stacked with options, an individual color, and in immaculate condition? $40k seems high for a 2016 with 100k miles. Kbb lists it at about $36.8k with standard options in EXCELLENT condition.

I know its crazy out here. I was able to get my 2016 m4 with 30k miles, in nearly immaculate condition, for just under $47k in April. It had an original msrp of $86.3k. I'm aware I kinda got lucky in this market, but there's a better deal somewhere I'd almost guarantee it. At least with less miles! Good luck my friend. And if you pick it up anyway, make sure you show it off for all of us

40k for an M3 with 100k? nope. Before the whole shortage you could get 15-16's with 75-85k for high 30's.
If you can hold off, do so.

I’ve never bought a car with 100k miles, I normally sell them at 80k miles at the most.
I usually sell cars at about 50k miles, but I have sold some Vettes that I really beat on with 20k-30k miles. So be educated on what hard wear looks like, if you would like some advice PM me. “So if the blue brake calipers are dark green, hard track life, etc”

Decided to hold off and continue to save another 10K. Just doesn't make sense right now. Rather spend 50K and get something with 50k miles.

I paid $60.9k on my 2019 M4 last year with 6.9k miles.
That included maintenance and warranty. Don’t rush it.

6 months and 10k miles later and I can still easily break even. Perhaps even profit to an individual buyer. Yours is a manual but it definitely seems low balled.

-plugs, rear diff, trans, front rear brake with front rotors, new tires, oil change, belt and pullies with hub capture. I bought the valve cover gasket and oil housing gasket for when it needs it! The car was the right color [ext/int] with the right options for me and had all the mods I wanted to do, so I saved about 3k right there, CF parts, lowered, tint, spacers! The previous owner had spent 5k on a wrap that I took off! Doing the maintenance myself, I was out about 2500k in parts. If the dealer did the work, well, plugs alone would have been 1300 [300 in parts], so go from there! 40 is too much, unless all the aforementioned maintenance were done recently. Then you could justify the price in the higher 30s! |

Unrelated; but I got my 2015 M4 with 42k miieles for just 36k in October of 2019. I really regret selling it now. I hope the market adjusts itself soon. I want to get back into an F8x!

There were NOT that many Shakir Orange M4 coupes out there for sale this summer also and it was a non-BMW dealer so I think that may have helped out a bit when I bought mine. Although I did find a better deal with a similar M4 with less miles (albeit without the CF package and aftermarket exhaust - which saved me about $5k right there on the one I bought) from a BMW dealer in IL about 45 days after purchasing my car! Still there too....at least online listing is! https://www.patrickbmw.com/used/BMW/...1bf6bcc554.htm SO I do think a few deals are out there or at least reasonable purchases but in the current market you DO have to look and do your homework.

BMW dealer offered me $38K on my 16 F80 with 88,000 miles as trade in value. At 100K miles Brakes and spark plugs I just had my brakes checked and dealer said I'm good for another 5,000+ miles before I should really change them My battery was at 80% (original battery) |

Also if you buy a car that's modified especially lowered they will sell for a lot less than a clean stock M3 no matter the year. |
