Hit and Run - Shop recs Austin area

Hopefully this is correct place for this topic.


I g got hit (minor driver side rear bumper) by a kid in a stolen Hyundai.
Luckily no body damage/dent just bad scrape...


I'm taking it to a couple body shops for estimates but figured I'd post here see if anyone has any recs for a excellent body shop in the Austin area.

I'm going to ask them to buff and touch up first see if that would be best as opposed to repaint and trying to get it to match perfectly.


Cheers and watch out for all those stolen Hyundai they roaming everywhere now lol.

Buff & touch up?? That will require a respray for sure.

Recently had work done at Protech Body Shop, they are excellent and I would highly recommend them. Xpel Austin also uses them and initially referred me. Ask for Nour and tell them Keyur with the Black M3 referred you.

Thanks. had a friend recommend them too and I'm on schedule with them now. They had another Yas M3 getting its rear bumper done when I got my estimate. They are definitely legit.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I wonder if that was the same stolen Hyundai that the kid jumped out and was running though peoples yards that they had a helo looking for him near my neighborhood. just a few days ago?

It seems to be a dent and a little scratch. However, don't worry, I think it won't be too expensive. Luckily it wasn't a big crash.
