ONEighty do you guys have pictures of the headlight fully sealed? Trying to get a better idea of how it is sealed back compared to OEM.

I'll get some detail shots of the procedure on the next headlight we seal.

But in the mean time, I'll just leave this here.

Photo cred. to ACM for the dope shot.

Thank you!! This is on my to-do list but wanted to see how it was sealed back etc. Had problems with stuff like this before and did not want to run into it again! Especially with a new car like this.

We haven't done them yet but I think it should be the same. Will be the same price unless we do the first set and find out it's a different seal. For example the F10 headlights have a ridiculously hard seal and we choose not to work on that model. Hopefully that's not the case with these Xenons and they are similar to the F30 Xenon headlights which we have done with no problem

Yea real quick

But for real can't do a special on these, too much work involved. Also $1250 was for Erics M3 set which had a few special things masked off on the turn signal and shrouds. Otherwise an all gloss black set (which most people get) is $1100 and an all matte black would be $900 + shipping/install.

Dumb question, but why is gloss $200 more than flat?

Flat/matte uses a different type of paint which is 1 stage. Gloss is two stage has to be cleared over, double the process

you will have nothing to worry about. I have had my e90 lights done 3 times and my F80's done and NEVER had an issue. The work is top quality.

For those of you waiting to see this mod on mineral grey, my car is at the Oneighty shop right now

I opted for the matte black finish as I have iND badge & side markers painted matte black as well as the Mperformance side sills and iND MG painted grille surround

My lights are xenons, so it will also be a comparison to the LEDs in the existing pictures.

Can't wait to see how they turn out!
