Heavy Vibrations in Steering Wheel & Pedal When Braking
I can't figure it out. I've had the wheels straightened and are balanced perfectly fine I've even replaced a wobbly hub but the shaking persists (I thought that was for sure the issue). The only thing left is the rotors and pads but they've been fine for ~78K miles, the wear is looking smooth and even, and it would be strange to suddenly be completely this dramatically warped.
Any other suggestions as to what this may be? Thanks. |

Check the rubber bushings for your front control arms they might be going bad at this point, checks out with the mileage if they haven't been replaced yet.

Err... these are the hardest to diagnose. I agree try checking the front bushings. On a different car, i had a warped rotor cause the same issues you have. Replacing the rotors fixed my issue. Do the front rotors need replacing? 78k is pretty good lifespan.

Just the front? They seem fine but I don't really know how to tell by looking. It's just odd they suddenly became warped over night. Literally the issue just started out of nowhere. |

Well, decided since I have 80K on my 2018 M4 it's time to just swap the pads + rotors...now all is well. Guess it was just that. Random that the brakes decided to just go out overnight it seemed. Maybe it's the drastic temperature change, who knows. I don't really slam the brakes, ever.
