Fingers crossed that I get the PSS, I've had two sets on my 335, and one on the wife's GTI. great tire. But from reviews I've read the new Conti is leaps and bounds better than previous ones.

Picked up my SSII f80 at the Welt today. I received Michelins on my car. The delivery specialist was also quite confident when I asked about exhaust changes. He said that their ears were keen to changes but that there were no official communications on the subject. However he did say that BMW was quite aware of the dissatisfaction from several reviews.

I can't comment on the continentals but the PSS are fantastic...

For the record I don't know jack about tires, just about trying to get them sideways.

I am now considering to change my delivery date to the 29th Saturday but i wont know until very short notice. Anyone have any success getting a confirmed ED date via email? Ive read somewhere that they might be able to accommodate me if I show up at the welt a little early.

I cant wait to leave Barcelona to head to Germany ...

You can get to the Welt a day early and request to pull your delivery time in but not delivery day. I originally had a 10:30am delivery time on a Saturday and I went the Welt the Friday before and requested to pull the delivery schedule early so they gave me a 8:40am time slot instead. I asked to pull back a full day but they can't for the reasons of insurance and registration and paperwork for your delivery doesn't arrive until the day before (at least for me) sometime in the afternoon.
