If I'm honest from pick up day I was a little underwhelmed by BSM on my M4. I'm sure most love it but it didn't show the full M enough for me. However on the upside it was nicknamed the Batmobile at work which was rather cool......cooler than the incoming Smurfmobile

I'd try to see a BSM M3/4 in real life and not in showroom. When clean it looks pretty much the best choice. 10minutes after driving it can look like a 420D from a lot of angle.

M specific colour is the way. Need to work on the Mrs Will she be on cleaning rota for the BSM every weekend?

Totally agree re: BSM. Looked very nice when clean, but parked next to an unwashed black M4 at work and immediately lost interest in the colour.

Ok, mind made up on the colour after getting the missus to a dealership that had a Silverstone to view in a showroom.
So Silverstone it is.
And as I keep telling the missus, after having 3 black 3 series, it will make a change!

As you say, a little underwhelming for an M, is the black. I'm keeping the black interior though as a compromise to the missus.

I'm looking for a DCT shortage now

Same here man, latest from BMW Genius is that my car is due to start production on Monday 4th April. I wish they'd share photos as the car goes through the different stages of manufacture, is that too geeky of me?
